Kingston introduces 64GB USB Flash Drive
In todays market the general rule seems to be too much is not enough and Kingston Technology, otherwise known as a memory producing company, are abiding to that rule with their newest USB flash drive which can hold up to 64GB of data.
A few years ago we could only dream about such USB flash drives, or maybe not exactly dream about them, but at least couldn’t afford such devices. About two years ago an USB flash drive with 64GB capacity had the astronomic price tag of $5,700.
The DT150 as it has been named by Kingston, reads and writes data at normal speeds according to some reports. The price for the USB flash drive is about $110 if you can find one with a discount, that’s a pretty steep price drop from the one of two years ago. Kingston’s new drive gives us hope of a 128GB flash drive in the near future at a affordable price.
If you wondered how many photos you can fit on a 64GB flash drive, the answer is 43000 images shot with a 5 megapixel camera.
